In the early 2000’s I spent a lot of time photographing events at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA. I always enjoyed the openness of the paddock and friendly crowds at VIR, particularly during the AMA Superbike weekends. The visitor parking lot at these events also consistently drew many nice, and sometimes unusual bikes. This gallery is a small snapshot of what the race paddock, race bikes, and spectator rides looked like at the end of the 2004 season.
