Here’s a collection of photos of Triumph motorcycles from the Octane Magazine archives. Back when these bikes were new I was fortunate to have a good rapport with my local Triumph dealer, D&D Import Cycles in Norfolk, VA. D&D made their Triumph demo bikes available to us for photo shoots and test rides, and we published a series of riding impressions in the magazine. These photos bring back some good memories for me. I hope you enjoy them.
2006 Triumph Speed Triple
The Speed Triple was my favorite bike in the 2006 Triumph lineup. Fast, sexy, and just a little unusual, this British street fighter is just my type.
2006 Triumph Speedmaster
Looking for a sporty cruiser that’s classier than a Harley and has more personality than a metric cruiser? The Triumph Speedmaster just might be your jam.
2006 Triumph Rocket III
Powered by a giant triple slugging pistons the size of coffee cans, the Rocket III is a big, bad, bruiser. Comfort combined with massive torque make the Triumph Rocket III a super fun cruiser.
2006 Triumph Sprint ST
The Sprint ST is Triumph’s sport-touring model. Fast, beautiful and versatile, it lives up to the name. With the factory hard bags clipped on and the heated hand grips warmed up, the Triumph Sprint ST is ready to take you anywhere at anytime. Snap the factory hard luggage off and you’ve got a sweet sportbike. What’s not to love?
Triumph Demo Day
Our Triumph dealer, D&D Import Cycles sponsored the D&D factory demo rig to come out to a local biker bar to offer demo rides.
